COLLECTED EDITIONS RESOURCE PAGE STOREFRONT

Welcome to your internet storefront for a huge collection of hardcovers from Marvel and DC, as well as other publishers, making this is an easy and accessible way for you to shop for your Masterworks, Archives, Omnibus and other collections. All links are to site sponsors Tales of Wonder and Amazon US, Amazon UK, and Amazon Canada.

Here is how this page works: Below is a list of portals for each category (or brand) of collected edition. Clicking on the link will open a pop-up window to the sales page where you will find the full list of books, with contents for each volume and links to shop for each individual item at Amazon or Tales of Wonder. It is also noted whether books are out-of-print and/or sold out.

I have painstakingly created these lists based on ISBN numbers, so they should be very accurate. If you notice any errors or problems with links, feel free to email me corrections!

Directions for how to purchase items are posted at the top of each page. Shopping from the CollectedEditions.com Store Front page helps maintain the costs of the website and message board, so please consider making your purchases through my links as directed. It helps put a little money in the pocket of the site at absolutely no cost to you!

And now a word about our sponsors: Tales of Wonder and Amazon. Both sites offer great prices and service, and I encourage purchases from them. I shop at both these sites, too! There are lots of books out there to read and enjoy – so happy shopping!

Buy 'Em Here! SOFTCOVER MASTERWORKS
LINKS
In 2009, as part of their 70th Anniversary observance, Marvel at long last began offering their Masterworks line in softcover format. The quality is nice and they are half the cost of their hardcover counterparts. Just like the hardcover Masterworks, these softcovers are available in "regular" editions as well as the limited, numbered editions. Alas, December of 2014 brought us the final edition of this line of books.
Buy 'Em Here! DC ARCHIVES

LINKS
Once the reprint world's crown jewel, the DC Archives seems to be defunct. There has been no official word, but there hasn't been an Archive released since May 2014, the only entry from that year. Still, it is one of the finest and most important comic reprint lines ever undertaken. Right now, the volumes range from bargain priced to out-of-print and pricy. Check out the link and fill the gaps in your collection!
Buy 'Em Here! NON-DC UNIVERSE ARCHIVES
LINKS Not only did DC do a fantastic job archiving their own comic properties, but they actively sought out other great comics from beyond their walls to showcase in the luxurious Archives format! Among them are Will Eisner's Spirit, Elfquest, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, The Joe Kubert Library: Tor and MAD Magazine. Like the DC Universe Archives, it seems doubtful they will be returning to this line. But we'll always have the Spirit books, for which we should all be grateful.
Buy 'Em Here! MARVEL OVERSIZED HARDCOVERS
LINKS Marvel's oversized hardcovers are where it's at! The line began as a way of giving contemporary titles a nice oversize format, with books like Daredevil, Punisher, and the Ultimate line getting the treatment. While newer material still dominates the format, some classic material gets in there as well, notably nice chunks of eighties and nineties X-Men material that don't quite make the Omnibus grade.
Buy 'Em Here! MARVEL OMNIBUS HARDCOVERS
LINKS Fans of the Marvel Omnibus library, also known by the pet name "Omniboo", have come to enjoy the fat-packed hardcovers that reprint hundreds and hundreds of pages of Marvel's most popular runs. From classics to, well, modern classics, the material in the Omniboo is almost always the cream of Marvel's vast crop.
Buy 'Em Here! MARVEL PREMIERE EDITION HARDCOVERS
LINKS Unlike their oversized brethren, this line of Marvel hardcovers is in the standard-size comic format and typically compiles more modest runs of comics. It gets you Marvel's current and most popular series out to you faster than the OHCs but in a hardcover format that precedes a later trade paperback edition. While the format used to cover seemingly half or more of the publisher's line, in recent years only 1-3 titles a month get released.
Buy 'Em Here! MARVEL PREMIERE EDITION CLASSIC HARDCOVERS
LINKS The Marvel Premiere Edition Classic line of hardcovers is a counterpoint to Masterworks. Like Masterworks, they are in a standard-sized HC format but they cherrypick across a wide spectrum of classic storylines from Marvel's rich past. They come in a regular edition and a variant edition that has a common library numbering system like the variant Masterworks. This is unfortunately another defunct line, ending in 2013. It's a real shame, but what a library. Do you have them all yet?
Buy 'Em Here! LICENSED AND MISC. MARVEL PREMIERE EDITION HARDCOVERS
LINKS Here you'll find the Marvel Premiere Edition hardcovers (and a few other hardcovers) that don't fall into the Marvel Universe category. This includes licensed properties such as Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, Laura K. Hamilton and Halo books, Marvel Illustrated Classics, the European Soleil comics, the creator-owned Icon line, and other books that exist separately from normal Marvel-produced books.
Buy 'Em Here! DC ABSOLUTE AND GALLERY EDITION HARDCOVERS
LINKS The popularity of DC's Absolute Editions, extra oversize slipcased hardcovers, opened the floodgates for the major publishers to start regularly putting out hundred dollar and up prestige books. The program dates back to the early part of the decade, with only a few releases a year. Absolutes have presented material from DC proper, as well as Vertigo and the defunct Wildstorm imprint. In addition to the Absolutes, this page includes the recent addition to DC's reprint line, the Gallery Editions. These are DC's version of IDW's Artist Editions.
Buy 'Em Here! DC OMNIBUS HARDCOVERS
LINKS DC's omnibuses are often not as large as Marvel's, covering shorter runs. It took six volumes to cover the entire 81-issue run of Starman, for instance. There are some big books in there though: the New 52 Omnibus has, well, 52 issues in it! This is the format in which you'll find DC's classic Kirby and Ditko reprints. That alone is worth the click!
Buy 'Em Here! DC DELUXE EDITION HARDCOVERS
LINKS The most diverse and interesting reprint line from DC, the Deluxe Editions are a bit like Marvel's Oversize hardcovers, and are indeed a larger trim size. They seem to like the format for collecting Vertigo series, but often are used for single volume collections of classic DC miniseries like Crisis and New Frontier or specific runs like Kevin Smith's Green Arrow. It is also the format used for their "Unwrapped" line, which uses the original pencil art.
Buy 'Em Here! DC REPRINT AND OGN HARDCOVERS
LINKS Here's where you'll find all of DC's hardcovers that are not part of a specific line, with the lone exception being the inclusion of the short lived DC Classic Library titles. These hardcovers are standard trim size, and about 90% contemporary material. Also included here are DC's original graphic novel hardcovers.
Buy 'Em Here! VERTIGO/WILDSTORM/ABC HARDCOVERS
LINKS
DC's Vertigo and (the late) Wildstorm imprints have brought us some of the most original, innovative, and influential comic book stories of the last thirty-plus(!) years. Here you'll find hardcover collections featuring seminal works by visionary writers like Neil Gaiman, Garth Ennis, Warren Ellis, and Brian K. Vaughan. Included here are books from Alan Moore's fabulous America's Best Comics line!
Buy 'Em Here! DARK HORSE ARCHIVES
LINKS Dark Horse has been pumping out dozens and dozens of high-end, high-class hardcovers with their own "Archives" imprint, reprinting classics as diverse as Mac Raboy's the Green Lama, the Gold Key/Dell library, Marvel's Conan the Barbarian, Warren's Creepy and Eerie, and Mike Baron and Steve Rude's Nexus.
Buy 'Em Here! EC ARCHIVES HARDCOVERS
LINKS
For a few years there, EC Comics set the standard for comic book storytelling. Operating during an era when Super Heroes was not the dominant genre, the company published horror, war, and science fiction titles that have gained mythic status over the decades. The reprint series EC Archives has existed in fits and starts over the years, but as of 2013 it's being given another go from Dark Horse. Also included: Fantagraphics' excellent series of creator-centric EC collections!
Buy 'Em Here! OTHER CLASSIC HARDCOVERS
LINKS
Here is the place to find classic collections from many of the other fine publishers. IDW's amazing Artist Editions, possibly the finest reprint line in existence, are all here. The publisher's other hardcovers are also available here, including the Yoe Books line, a personal favorite. But wait, there's more! How about all of Fantagraphics classic material hardcovers, Titan's Simon and Kirby line, and Canton Street Press? You'll not find a better place to see a listing of all of these lines in one place, and you can order them!
Buy 'Em Here! CLASSIC COMIC STRIP COLLECTIONS
LINKS
Sometimes comic books aren't enough and you want to curl up with a good comic strip collection. The last few years have been an incredible time for classic comic strip reprints, with companies like IDW, Hermes Press, Fantagraphics, and others bringing us some terrific high-end collections. Now we present them all in one place in what is likely the most thorough resource for archival comic strip volumes.
Buy 'Em Here! MARVEL CLASSIC TPBs
LINKS
Yeah, we're hardcover junkies here, but sometimes you gotta splurge on the softcover trades. Lots of stuff will never or not too soon get collected in HC. Until then, these will have to do! There are so many trades out there, especially in recent years when Marvel has finally given this format some attention, so I am restricting the sales page to trades that get the Gormuu stamp of quality- so buy with confidence!
Buy 'Em Here! ESSENTIALS
LINKS Like the softcover Masterworks line, the Essentials have become extinct due to the Epic Collections. Marvel was seriously pushing the limits of the term "essential" by the end anyway. The thick, black and white, and inexpensive books (sometimes referred to as "phone books" by its deriders) reprint various series from the beginning, and Marvel produced dozens and dozens of volumes. While black and white may not be the best way to experience super hero comics, there are several horror volumes that look perfectly nice in this fomat. The Essentials are going out of print fast, but some are still plenty affordable on the back market.
Buy 'Em Here! SHOWCASE PRESENTS
LINKS Although the Showcase Presents line appears to be another dying line, it can retire proud. Following on the heels of Marvel's Essential line, the Showcase books evolved into a great way for readers to get their hands on material that would be unlikely to get reprinted but for the inexpensive format. Volumes like Men Of War, Atomic Knights, and even Captain Carrot were the norm by what seems like the end of the line in earlyl 2015. Then again, maybe that's what killed it? In any case, another thing these books have in common with the Essentials is that they are going out of print for good. Grab 'em here while you can!
Buy 'Em Here! MARVEL EPIC/ULTIMATE/COMPLETE COLLECTION TPBs
LINKS Here is where you'll find those big ol' trade paperbacks, with large chunks of issues. First up is the Epic Collections, which will ultimately comprise the entire run of some of Marvel's longest running titles (published our of chronological order to get some material that's never reprinted out there). The Marvel Ultimate Collections, later re-christened  "Complete Collections" are a line of trades that consolidate longer runs of comics than a typical trade paperback, sometimes conforming to the contents of previously published OHC collections. Often but not always collecting material from more recent series, they are typically meant to replace single trades that are allowed to go out of print.
Buy 'Em Here! MARVEL LICENSED TRADES
LINKS These aren't trade paperbacks that Marvel has licensed, but rather collections of titles that Marvel licensed and published in the seventies and eighties. The license on these properties, such as Conan, Star Wars, and G.I. Joe, have been acquired by other publishers (e.g. Dark Horse, IDW) who have released collections of the classic Marvel series. Here is your one stop shop for these books.
Buy 'Em Here! DC CLASSIC TRADES
LINKS DC's iconic characters have appeared in many different classic trade paperback lines, from their Chronicles series to wonderful Silver Age anthologies to collections that focus on particular runs with particular creators. This is the page where you'll find them all, with collections that stretch all the way back to the beginning of the Golden Age all the way up through the nineties. We've even included Vertigo titles that have their origins in the DC Universe.
Buy 'Em Here! DC "NEW 52" AND BEYOND COLLECTIONS
LINKS In September 2011, DC Comics made one of the boldest moves in the history of the medium when it relaunched its entire comic book universe, bringing us 52 new #1 issues. The initiative brought us new costumes, origins, and well, just about everything. Here you'll find in one spot the collections, both hardcover and trade paperback, of DC's "New 52" line. In April 2015, DC retired the designation, but that won't stop us from continuing to list DC's latest material right here!
Buy 'Em Here! MARVEL NOW! COLLECTIONS
LINKS In November 2012, Marvel began a more gradual relaunch of their own, although the Marvel NOW! initiative was not a reboot of existing continuity, nor was it linewide. It was more of a new-reader-friendly reshuffling of creative teams on their top books, complete with some new perspectives on classic concepts. We thought the fresh start was a good reason for another storefront page, so here you'll find all of the Marvel NOW! collections, both hardcover and trade paperback. Marvel NOW! has been replaced by other publishing initiatives, but we will continue making available contemporary Marvel material right here, right NOW!
Buy 'Em Here! ALL-NEW ALL-DIFFERENT COLLECTIONS
LINKS The Marvel NOW! era culminated in 2015's large scale Secret Wars event that altered the landscape of the Marvel Universe. Coming out of that, Marvel launched a new initiative reflecting the changes that they called All-New All-Different Marvel. While not a reboot, several pieces were shuffled around, with new creators and new status quos nearly across the board. It therefore seems like a good idea to start an All-New All-Different storefront page! Like our other contemporary storefront pages, you'll find ANAD collected editions of all formats.
Buy 'Em Here! MARVEL STAR WARS COLLECTIONS
LINKS I don't know if you've heard, but in 2015 Marvel started publishing Star Wars comics again. Once Disney bought both Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm it was only a matter of time, and after over two decades at Dark Horse, the Star Wars publishing rights moved back to their original home. Marvel wasted no time, and Star Wars immediately became the most popular comic book property in the industry. The collected edition department went to town as well, issuing omnibuses of the classic Marvel series and Epic Collections of Dark Horse material. On our Star Wars page you'll find all of Marvel's Star Wars collected editions.
Buy 'Em Here! THE WALKING DEAD
LINKS Robert Kirkman's zombie comic is a sensation, routinely selling out as a monthly comic and getting top placement in the collected editions sales charts. Now it's the basis for a hit AMC television show. This page pulls together all the Walking Dead available in trade paperback and hardcover, as well as ancillary material.
Buy 'Em Here! IMAGE COLLECTIONS
LINKS The Walking Dead is hardly the only Image Comics title worth your time. In the years since the venerable zombie comic debuted, Image has evolved well past the artist-driven flash of its nineties origins into the place to find the most creative writing voices in the industry. Led by titles like Saga, East Of West, and Chew, these last few years could easily be dubbed the Image Era. Here you'll find collected editions for dozens of examples of the diversity of today's Image Comics. Many titles' first volumes come with enticing introductory prices, and we've even included some recommendations!
Buy 'Em Here! ADULT COLORING BOOKS
LINKS It was only a matter of time before comics publishers figured out that they were sitting on a wealth of material that is a natural for the "Adult Coloring Book" craze. Sure enough, Marvel, DC, IDW, and Image have all jumped on the bandwagon. They are going to keep making them as long as people buy them, and why not? Speaking of buying them, we've made it easy with a page that includes these books across all publishers!
